Here are a few ways to earn that will really help you collect more moments faster.

In-Store

Scan your digital card in the AIR MILES App or physical card when making an eligible purchase at a participating partner and voila, you’ve earned Miles!

AIR MILES Receipts

Shop your offers at most major grocers, scan an eligible receipt in the app, and earn.

Card-Linked Offers

Link your Canadian-issued Mastercard®, shop available offers in-store or online (no scanning necessary), and that’s it!

You will receive AIR MILES Gold collector status and access to the corresponding benefits as soon as you get 500 eligible Reward Miles posted to your collector account in a calendar year. Your collector status will be valid until December 31 of the following year. Eligible Miles are collected in connection with qualifying purchases made at participating AIR MILES partners; see the partner listing section on airmiles.ca. Certain Miles do not count towards the minimum 500 eligible Mile requirement (“Exclusions”). Exclusions include, but are not limited to, refunded Miles, transferred Miles, any Miles collected through an employee incentive program, and Miles collected in connection with any specifically excluded offer. If you were previously Gold collector status, but you do not get 500 eligible Miles in a calendar year, you will no longer have Gold collector status benefits nor access to the corresponding benefits as of January 1 of the following year. It may take up to 45 days for your updated status to take effect. AIR MILES Gold collector status qualification requirements and benefits are subject to change at any time and without notice.

Cardholders of BMO AIR MILES Mastercard and BMO AIR MILES No-Fee Business Mastercard (“Eligible Cardholders”) enjoy automatic AIR MILES Gold collector status and have access to the corresponding benefits as long as they remain Eligible Cardholders (“Partner Designation”). Should their BMO AIR MILES Mastercard cardholder status terminate, then requalification for Gold collector status is based on their collection of 500 eligible Reward Miles in a calendar year. Should they qualify for Onyx collector status based on their collection of 5,000 eligible Miles in a calendar year, then the Onyx collector status supersedes the Partner Designation. Eligible Miles are collected in connection with qualifying purchases made at participating AIR MILES partners; see the partner listing section on airmiles.ca. Certain Miles do not count towards the minimum eligible Mile requirement (“Exclusions”). AIR MILES Blue collectors get 1 AIR MILES® Reward Mile for every $15 CAD per travel booking. AIR MILES Gold® collectors get 1 AIR MILES® Reward Mile for every $10 CAD spent per travel booking. AIR MILES Onyx collectors get 1 AIR MILES® Reward Mile for every $5 CAD spent per travel booking.
Offer is valid for collectors who make a booking on AIR MILES® Travel. The Miles earned will be calculated on the collector status at the time of booking and the base cost of the booking made in a single transaction. Miles are not earned on any taxes and fees. Offer applies to the amount of the booking paid for by credit card.
Miles will be posted into the booking collector’s AIR MILES account within 5 to 10 days after travel is completed. AIR MILES reserves the right to change or retract an offer at any time without prior notice, or to retract an offer for deceptive booking behaviour, including but not limited to creating multiple collector numbers. AIR MILES Collectors can bundle two (2) travel products and earn up to 5x the Miles. This includes; Flight + Accommodation, or Flight + Car Rental.
AIR MILES Blue collectors get 3 AIR MILES® Reward MilesTM for every $15 CAD spent, per bundled travel booking transaction. AIR MILES Gold® collectors can get 4 AIR MILES Reward Mile for every $10 CAD spent, per bundled travel booking transaction. AIR MILES Onyx collectors can get 5 AIR MILES Reward Miles for every $5 CAD spent, per bundled travel booking transaction.
Offer is valid for collectors who make a booking on AIR MILES® Travel. The Miles earned will be calculated on the booking collector status at the time of booking and the base cost of the booking made in a single transaction. Miles are not earned on any taxes and fees. Offer applies to the amount of the booking paid for by credit card. Offer applies only to transactions where both travel components are booked together in a single transaction, and the bundle type is selected prior to booking/purchase completion. Adding a second travel component to a previously completed booking will not qualify as a bundled package.

At least one AIR MILES offer exclusive to AIR MILES Gold and AIR MILES Onyx collectors will be available in a calendar year. Collector must have active Gold or Onyx status at the time of the offer period to be eligible for the offer. Blue collectors can transfer up to 500 Reward Miles™ per calendar year between their AIR MILES Cash and Dream Accounts. For greater clarity, the limit of 500 Miles is cumulative; all transfers from Cash to Dream and from Dream to Cash will contribute to the total annual limit. AIR MILES Gold® collectors can transfer up to 3,000 Reward Miles™ per day between their AIR MILES Cash and Dream Accounts. AIR MILES Onyx collectors can transfer an unlimited number of Reward Miles between their AIR MILES Cash and Dream Accounts per calendar year. There is a daily transfer limit of 3,500 Miles between a collector’s AIR MILES Cash and Dream Accounts through the AIR MILES website and app’s digital Transfer Miles feature. Onyx collectors can transfer more than the daily digital limit of 3,500 Miles by calling AIR MILES Customer Care and completing verification requirements. There is no fee associated with the Transfer Miles feature between a collector’s Cash and Dream accounts. To use the Transfer Miles feature, first log in to your AIR MILES account on airmiles.ca or in the AIR MILES App and visit the Transfer Miles page. Then, select the transfer type (Cash to Dream or Dream to Cash), enter the amount of Miles you wish to transfer and confirm the transfer by clicking the “transfer” button. Once confirmed, transfers are final; reversing the transfer will be considered a second transfer and will contribute to the annual transfer limit applicable to Blue collectors. AIR MILES reserves the right to revise or amend the Transfer Miles limit or to revise, pause, or cancel the Transfer Miles feature in part or in whole at any time without prior notice to you. Collector status AIR MILES Travel and merchandise offers cannot be combined with any other offers such as Travel Specials and Deals of the Week. AIR MILES reserves the right to offer flights and merchandise at an equivalent or lesser number of Miles to all collectors.
Starting in 2025, an exclusive Travel discount will be available for AIR MILES Gold and Onyx collectors during one month in a calendar year, as chosen by AIR MILES. The discount will be available as a ‘Travel Month’ offer and can be used for a maximum of one booking per eligible collector done through AIR MILES Travel during that month. Discount will take the form of the lower of: (a) the applicable percentage Dream Miles discount (30% for Gold collectors or 40% for Onyx collectors), or (b) the applicable maximum discount (450 Dream Miles for Gold collectors or 650 Dream Miles for Onyx collectors). Collector must have active Gold or Onyx status at the time of the offer period to be eligible for the offer. Offer will be subject to terms and conditions which will be made available during the offer period.
AIR MILES collectors have the option of CASH + MILES at checkout when booking standalone Flights, Accommodations, Car Rentals and Extras through AIR MILES Travel on airmiles.ca where they can redeem 50% or more of the number of Miles quoted and pay for the balance on a credit card. Collectors must pay applicable surcharges, fees, and taxes by credit card, except where specifically stated. Collectors may have the option to redeem Miles for taxes when booking with select partners. AIR MILES collectors have the option of CASH + MILES at checkout when booking Packages (Flight + Accommodation, Flight + Car Rental) through AIR MILES Travel on airmiles.ca where Blue collectors require a minimum of 50% in Miles, Gold collectors require a minimum of 25% in Miles, and Onyx collectors require a minimum of 1% in Miles. Cruise bookings do not apply for CASH + MILES payment. See Full Terms and Conditions for Cruises.
AIR MILES collectors do not have to pay booking fees when booking Flights, Accommodations, Rental Cars, Packages or Extras through AIR MILES Travel on airmiles.ca. A $30 booking fee applies for Cruise bookings.
AIR MILES Onyx collectors do not have to pay booking, change or cancellation fees on Flights, Accommodations, Rental Cars, Packages or Extras with Customer Care Ambassadors. Onyx collectors must pay Travel Provider changes fees that may apply.
