Balance preference

To change or reset your balance preference, simply use the slider in the tool at the top of the page. Set it to the preference of how you would like the Miles you get to be allocated. Changing your balance preference here will only affect Miles you get moving forward and will not change your current AIR MILES Cash or Dream Accounts. When you’re all set, click “Update balance preference” to save your changes and continue.

Once you’ve set your new preference on the slider, click “Update balance preference.” Once this is done, you may be asked to confirm your email (we need this on your Profile to know where you get in touch with you about any Rewards you may get). Once this has been done, we’ll send you a confirmation of your change, and then you’re all set!

Remember: Changing your balance preference will not affect the Miles currently in your AIR MILES Cash or Dream Accounts.

No. Setting your balance preference doesn’t affect current Accounts – it only has an impact on any Miles you get after the change has taken place. Once Miles are in your AIR MILES Cash or Dream Account, they cannot be transferred between your Accounts.
